Get Ready to Wag & Roll: 2024 Pet Fest Guam to Support Guam Animals in Need!
(Tamuning, Guam) March 27, 2024 — Guam Animals in Need (GAIN) and Milkbone are thrilled to announce the 2024 Pet Fest Guam, a day of tail-wagging fun and heartfelt support for our furry companions in need. Taking place at Ypao Beach Park Amphitheater on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this event promises a paw-some lineup of activities, contests, and entertainment for pets and their humans alike.
Pet Fest Guam is more than just a festival—it's a gathering of animal lovers coming together to raise much needed funds for Guam Animals in Need and their tireless efforts to assist with the island's stray animal crisis. Executive Director of Guam Animals in Need, Ali Hadley, shares her enthusiasm for the event, "Pet Fest Guam is not just a celebration of our furry companions; it's a beacon of hope for the animals we serve. Your participation will directly impact our mission to provide love, care, and support for Guam's animals in need."

Helen Le, event organizer, emphasizes the importance of environmental responsibility at Pet Fest Guam: "We are striving for ZERO WASTE at Pet Fest! We ask all attendees to use biodegradable to-go containers. After the event, all biodegradables will be composted, food waste will support a local pig farmer, and aluminum and metal cans will be recycled. Let's make a positive impact on our environment while celebrating our furry friends!"

About Guam Animals in Need (GAIN): Guam Animals In Need, Inc. (GAIN) is a 501(c)(3) organization and is the only animal shelter on the island. GAIN was established 1989 and is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, and to the education of the public concerning matters pertaining to animals and their welfare.
